Yes we are creatures of habit and as usual decided to get together Saturday night before going out on the town. This week we decided to create all of our drinks using vanilla flavored vodka. I have included some of our favorite recipes from the evening. Click on the drink photo above to visit the Absolute website & try some of the other recipes using vanilla vodka.
Absolut Vanilia Avalanche
2 parts Absolut Vanilia
1 part Amaretto
6 parts MilkAlmondChocolateVanilla
Chill a cocktail glass with ice or in the freezer.
Put a small amount of crushed ice in the blender container.
Pour absolut vanilia, amaretto and milk over the crushed ice.
Close the lid on the blender and run until the drink is smooth. Add some more liquid if it's too hard, and more ice if it's too runny.
Empty the cocktail glass from ice and water.
Pour the drink into the cocktail glass.
Garnish with an almond (whole), a chocolate (whole) and a vanilla (stick).

1 part Absolut Vanilia
1 dash Lime JuiceGinger BeerLime
Fill a highball glass to the rim with ice cubes.
Pour absolut vanilia over the ice.
Top up with ginger beer.
Garnish with a lime (wedge).

Pour absolut vanilia over the ice.

1 part Absolut Kurant
1 part Absolut Vanilia
2 parts Coconut Liqueur
4 parts Strawberry Syrup
Fill a highball glass to the rim with crushed ice.
Put a small amount of crushed ice in the blender container.
Pour absolut kurant, absolut vanilia, coconut liqueur and strawberry syrup over the crushed ice.
Close the lid on the blender and run until the drink is smooth. Add some more liquid if it's too hard, and more ice if it's too runny.
Pour the drink into the highball glass.
Fill a highball glass to the rim with crushed ice.
Put a small amount of crushed ice in the blender container.
Pour absolut kurant, absolut vanilia, coconut liqueur and strawberry syrup over the crushed ice.
Close the lid on the blender and run until the drink is smooth. Add some more liquid if it's too hard, and more ice if it's too runny.
Pour the drink into the highball glass.
